Interested in joining?

We welcome players of all skill levels, experience, and athletic backgrounds. You must be 18 years older to join. We currently have a wait list for new players. To indicate your interest in joining the DSeahorses, please fill out the following form. You can also access the form by clicking here.

If you are a DSeahorse alumni or IGLA-affiliated player interested in dropping in at practice while in town please email secretary.dseahorses@gmail.com with the practice date(s) you would like to attend instead of completing the form to ensure your request is answered promptly. Drop-in players must provide proof of an active water polo membership (USA Water Polo, American Water Polo, etc) and sign a participant release form before partaking in practice.

Please refrain from asking about your place on the waitlist. Instead of opening up our waitlist at regular intervals, we evaluate practice attendance to determine when to open up our waitlist so practices remain safe and not overcrowded. You can expect to hear from us when we are able to welcome new players.

PRACTICING WITH DSEAHORSES

All practices are held at the Takoma Aquatic Center. 

Mondays and Wednesdays - 7:30 to 9:00pm

Sundays - 3:30 to 5:00pm

We do not allow players interested in joining the team to participate in practices without having passed our test set. You must complete the form above in order to be invited to one of our test sets. 

All DSeahorses players must be registered members of USA Water Polo and must be current on all dues and individual tournament fees in order to participate in practice and tournaments. Registration with USAWP must be updated annually at a Bronze level or higher. Membership with the Washington DSeahorses is an annual agreement, membership levels indicate your payment plan.
